Ambassador Responsibilities

As a Connect and Hike Ambassador, we expect you to actively participate in and promote hiking activities. Responsibilities include:

Leading or co-leading hikes in your area with groups of all skill levels
Promoting responsible outdoor ethics and safety practices during hikes
Engaging with local hiking communities and encouraging others to get outdoors
Providing feedback about trails, routes, and conditions to help improve the community’s hiking experience
Volunteering to support local outdoor or environmental initiatives
Participating in quarterly Connect and Hike events, workshops, or clean-up efforts

Program Requirements

To be eligible for the ambassador program, you should:

Be at least 18 years old
Have a passion for hiking and the outdoors

Volunteer Timeframes

We divide the year into four quarters for ambassador commitments. You can choose your preferred timeframe:

Q1: January – March
Q2: April – June
Q3: July – September
Q4: October – December

You can commit to one or more quarters based on your availability and preference.
